Breach Security Extends Global Presence With European Expansion

Announces New Agreements With Leading European Distributors and Resellers

CARLSBAD, Calif., April 10, 2007 – Breach Security, Inc., the leader in web application security, today announced the company’s further expansion into the European market with the opening of new offices in London and continued operations in Herzliya, Israel. The two offices support both sales and product development staff for the company’s flagship web application firewall BreachGate WebDefend™, ModSecurity Pro™ M1000, and the recently released ModSecurity open source version 2.0.

In addition, Breach Security is also announcing new channel and distribution agreements with three European resellers: Comguard.cz, Dot Force, and ZION SECURITY to further increase both visibility and sales resources for Breach Security internationally.

“Breach Security products are increasingly being used by global organizations and our European presence lays the foundation to further extend the reach of our web application firewalls into these markets with the help of our new partners,” said Marc Shinbrood, CEO, Breach Security, Inc. “Our aggressive expansion into the European market has presented exciting opportunities for both Breach Security and our resellers as we bring a new level of web application security and support to organizations in the region.”

Latvia-based JSC Norvik Banka recently deployed BreachGate WebDefend. Norvik Banka has more than 100 individual branches serving both consumer and corporate financial clients with banking services that include cash and settlement, lending and acceptance of deposits, and safe deposit box rentals.

“As a financial institution with more than 100,000 customers, the security of our web applications is crucial for us to allow secure banking for our customers,” said Sergejs Kravchenko, IT Security Manager, JSC Norvik Banka. “With BreachGate WebDefend we are able to detect and prevent attacks from hackers while maintaining full control of our web applications. We have successfully been able to manage our web applications, correct errors found in web sites, and sleep easy at night knowing everything is fully protected.”
