CARLSBAD, Calif., – September 8, 2005 – Breach Security Inc., the provider of next-generation web application security to protect privileged information, today announced its Chief Technology Officer, Ofer Shezaf, has been elected as an Officer of the Web Application Security Consortium (WASC), further demonstrating Breach as a thought leader in security technology. The WASC is a group dedicated to developing and promoting security standards of best practice for the Web.
In Mr. Shezaf’s capacity at WASC he is, among other things, in charge of the Real World Web Hacking URL’s initiative aimed at increasing public awareness of application security issues by providing and analyzing examples of real world application security events.
