Manassas, VA – Jan. 4, 2005 – NCS Technologies Inc. announced today that it is supplying OEM appliance development and manufacturing services to Breach Security, Inc., an emerging leader in deployable application security solutions that protect organizations from costly identity theft, privacy and regulatory violations.
NCS has developed two appliances for Breach Security’s BreachGate™ family of deployable application security appliances. The BreachGate line enhances traditional network security solutions like IDS/IPS and firewalls to protect corporate and commercial applications, databases and the web-presentation layer from attack by automated and human intruders.
Both appliances have been developed in 1U rack optimized form-factor and deliver blazing speeds using high performance Intel Xeon processors. The appliances run hardened Linux Operating System and feature redundant SATA drives as well as dual Gigabit Ethernet ports onboard.
“NCS was able to provide high-quality production with a quick turnaround time,” said Doron Kolton, vice president, research and development for Breach Security. “As we are moving quickly to ensure timely delivery to our key customers, NCS exceeded our expectations – they were responsive, professional and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process.”
“Corporate and government application software are vulnerable to attacks that can lead to business downtime and loss of confidential information. Breach Security helps meet the challenge by providing easily deployable application security appliances. We are very pleased to be selected by Breach as partner for their appliance manufacturing,” said Pranay Prakash, Executive Director, OEM Servers & Appliances for NCS.
