Breach Security Appoints Kevin Overcash As New Vice President of Product Management

Internet security expert with 20 years of experience further strengthens Breach management team and leads company’s product development strategy.

CARLSBAD, Calif., ~ November 10, 2004 ~ Breach Security Inc., an emerging leader in deployable application security appliances, today appointed Kevin Overcash as the new vice president of product management. An Internet security expert, Overcash brings more than 20 years of product management and leadership experience to his new role. He has held leadership positions at both established and start-up technology companies and has strong expertise in software development.

Most recently, Overcash was vice president of product management for SPI Dynamics, a Web application security company, where he expanded the application scanning product line and led the company’s growth into two new markets. While at SPI Dynamics, Overcash was responsible for the strategic growth of new products and continued product enhancements.

Previously, Overcash was a product manager for Internet Security Systems, leading his team to design the Internet Scanner 6 architecture and managing the Real Secure product line. Earlier in his career, Overcash worked as a software developer for NASA and Radio Free Europe and has worked with companies including the Coca-Cola Company, Turnkey Compute Systems and Point Information Systeme in Germany. Overcash holds a bachelor’s of science in computer science and mathematics from the University of Georgia.
