Security Services Engineer (SSE) and Sr. Security Services Engineer
The Security Services Engineer (SSE) works closely with the Customer Services Management and field engineering team in resolving customer support issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Security Services Engineer will:
- Report to the Director of Customer Support Service
- Troubleshoot, identify and solve technical issues from the field, to ensure a successful client implementation of Breach products.
- Works with little or no supervision and can function at a team level or project lead team member on projects requiring multi-staff members.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert on the Breach Product line and service offerings.
- Duties include Security requirement analysis, design, Breach product selection, implementation and placement.
- Be responsible for assignment documentation
- Recognizes the importance of customer satisfaction and is able to consistently contribute.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- Education: BSCS/BSEE degree or equivalent work experience and/or Breach practical knowledge.
- Industry Experience: 2-8 years based on Security Skills and/or Breach product applications
- Certification: CISSP or similar combination of IT Security related training and product certifications.
Technical Skills
Must have the following:
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP /HTTP
- Excellent understanding of Computer Security as it relates to Breach
- Excellent understanding of the functionality of network components
- Good knowledge of Linux and script programming
- Ability to grasp new concepts and learn new Breach software and hardware applications
Communication Skills
- Verbal: Is able to professionally communicate technical issues and ideas with peers and clients in a formal manner
- Written: Is able to produce technical documents and presentations related to activities, with little or no assistance from senior staff.
- Presentation: Able to clearly present technical issues to staff at all levels.

This position calls for a well-rounded individual who has technical aptitude, business sense, a customer service orientation, and the ability to think methodically and conceptually.
Summary of Responsibilities:
As IT Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of our corporate infrastructure, including: heterogeneous server infrastructures, desktop and mobile computing solutions, LAN/WAN network infrastructures, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, telecommunications, VoIP Audio/Video, and various IT related projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Education:
- BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience with two (3+) years experience in IT Operations
- Five (5+) years hands on experience with computing, systems, networking & telecommunication technology.
- Key technology components include: Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, MS-SQL Server, Windows XP/Vista, Office 2003/2007, IIS 5/6/7, Cisco routers, switches, PIX Firewalls, IPSec & SSL VPN, CheckPoint Firewalls/VPN’s, SalesForce.com, SharePoint, various Open Source tools, and TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent problem-solving & troubleshooting skills. Addresses priorities with urgency.
- Experience with data backup and recovery; and other complimentary solutions as imaging and data replication / synchronization.
- Experience with VMware ESX server
- Solid understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, SSL, SMTP, HTTP.
- Experience securing system, servers, and web sites.
